The Decision

Starting counseling can be very difficult.  One thing I see as similar among many counselors is a belief that counseling starts during the first session.  I believe a person starts to change even before the decision is made to see a counselor. 

The process of fighting back against depression, against chronic worry, against angry relationships and even against your own inability to accomplish tasks is the first step in making real change.  Even the seemingly simple process of reading this site can be the action needed to begin significant growth. 

Now that you have started changing, it is time to find the right therapy for you.
